PC hardware, IE the processor, RAM, motherboard, etc does not degrade over time but hard disks and operating sytems (IE Windows) most certainly do reduce the performance of your PC over time.

We ensure that Windows is updated and operating at its optimum in the hope that you get many more years of use out of your PC.

We also do various diagnostics to ensure the hard disk is performing correctly and not damaged in any way. Most hard disks have damage of some sort (known as bad sectors). As part of the service we carry out a full, low level scan to ensure bad sectors are not used and that your data, pictures, documents, etc are as safe as they can be.

It is also often the case that unused applications are impacting on the performance of your PC. We ensure that only the most used applications are running at start-up so they aren't eating up resources when you don't need them.
